AT SOMATIC SONGWRITERS WE BELIEVE THAT MUSIC AND HEALING ARE INSEPARABLE
FOUNDED BY DAYA SINGH, TURIYA HAUDENHUYSE AND BEC HOLLCRAFT, OUR WORK BRINGS TOGETHER DECADES OF EXPERIENCE IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, TRAUMA RELEASE, SOMATIC PRACTICES, MENTAL PERFORMANCE COACHING AND BRAIN-BASED VOCAL TRAINING TO SUPPORT ARTISTS IN THEIR CREATIVE AND PERSONAL LIVES.
WHO WE ARE
We’re musicians, practitioners, and nervous system educators. We build community and hold a regulated container for artists to reconnect to their body, voice, and creative source, without losing their health in the process.
Our vision is to guide singer-songwriters and performers to discover the powerful connection between body, voice, and mind.
WHAT WE DO
Being an artist is about more than writing songs or performing on stage - it’s about navigating the nervous system and emotions that shape creativity.
We offer tools and practices that help artists:
Overcome anxiety, stage fright, writer’s block, and vocal fatigue.
Build nervous system resilience and emotional balance.
Strengthen the connection between somatics, voice, and creative flow.
Create from a place of safety, joy, and authenticity.
Our approach blends Neuroscience, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing®, Brain-Based Vocal Training, and Songwriting to unlock deeper freedom in both artistry and life.
OUR VISION
At its heart, Somatic Songwriters© is more than a community - it’s a movement.
A space where artists come together to heal, create, and grow, supporting one another in building resilience that lasts far beyond the stage.
We envision a world where artists are not only creatively inspired, but also emotionally supported, embodied, and free.
